Got to like the bloke, and he's done about as well as could be expected this year. It was a shame for him and us that he got suspended when he did, as he was absolutely outstanding in that Newcastle game; probably the best he's had for us.

Unfortunately he's not really hit the same heights since.

Have to say Hemed has been very unlucky, he has toiled has had chances but has not taken them though most of his shots are on target. Murray comes on and scores goals without really trying (well the last 3). Has been a good team player for the club.

Regards the cup I would think most players realise that their wages will depend on PL survival not a good cup run. If we keep it to the second team for the next game then that should be ok. By then we will know which direction we are going in..

I know I'll get shouted at but I still think he's certainly as good as, if not better than, Murray
Not by me... I love Tomer and would much rather have him do the jobs that him and Murray are tasked with. The fact that neither of them are world class enough to take a very, very high % of chances is inescapable and a favourite discussion point for those who like to be negative about our players (i.e. they miss one chance in a game, or, God forbid, TWO chances, and that is what gets talked about...).

Tomer in my humble opinion is a real team player and started this season very well the suspension was harsh and completly broke his form which, very similar to Glen just not so lucky with his knee or thigh often hits the ball to cleanly now with Leo joining the ranks I this his opertunites will be even more limited but I for one would be sad to see him go

Chris Martin to Reading now, which would suggest they've given up on Hemed for the Tomer being.

He was on a bit of a roll before the 'stamping' incident. I just wonder if he hadn't been banned whether he would have had a decent run and played with greater confident and effectiveness.

Tomer Hemed is one of those players that typifies what the Albion is all about, loyal, positive and decent.
I'll never forget his face at the Brentford game last season, after scoring that late equaliser.

Every penalty Murray gets to take must feel to Hemed like a dagger through the heart. One less goal towards his goal tally consisting mainly of penalties. Oh well.
