ive just purchased football manager 2009 for the pc (2nd hand) , ive gone to enter the keycode and it says its already in use with another ' steam ' account. anyone know how i can activate my game?

Basically they don't need the disk to play it now. So they mugged you off. How much did you buy it for and where from?

You may be able to get a key gen for it that will give you a code, but its unlikely.

This happened to me. Just return the game and they have to send you a new one or give you a full refund. If they don't then contact Trading Standards.
