[Albion] Help wanted - scarf ID

Parents found this in their loft today, trying to work out where it came from (they thought it was mine but no). Any clues as to the vintage? Mum went to a few cup games as part of a group in the late 1970s / early 1980s so wondered if someone might be able to pinpoint it to a particular season or two. We were wondering if it could be the 1983 semi / final replay (both of which she went to)?

Looks like the font from an early 80’s computer game, so guessing that period

As a kid I had a jumper that had my name on about 200 times in a possibly identical font. It was made by a family friend who had an automatic knitting machine that you could program (in a very limited fashion) and definitely needed some hand finishing.

I suspect some lovely person made this as a gift.
