Help Please - Venues To Hire in Brighton

Hello good people of NSC,

I am looking to try and hire a venue for a charity event, but I am struggling to think of places to ask

It needs to be for anything upto 250 people, and be big enough to have a stage for a band

So far I have come up with

Komedia
Concorde
Audio
The Old Market
Brighton Race Course
Bar Fly

Youre help would be kindly appreciated x

My sister organised a charity event for similar numbers - she hired the Queens hotel.

She is organising another this year and is using Lewes Town hall.

Depending on what time of year, a marquee in Stamner park is an option she thought about.

Brighton racecourse is a top venue - great views - plenty of space and loads of parking. If you get them to do the food then the roast beef is spot on ( pink and juicey :p ).

There's a superb tithe barn at Falmer that used to be used for events. I think they put a stop to them because the noise upset the villagers. But it might be worth a try.

audio is about the right size for want you want. concorde and old market both about double that. albert holds far less than 250.

not sure if it's closed down yet, but the pressure point holds around 200 or so in the venue room.
