Hi Guys,

On 15th October this year my 14 year old daughter
is going to India with St John Ambulance to work in an orphanage and school.
She has to teach lessons to 6 year olds which she is busy planning.
...
This will be such a big life changing experience for her and
a big challenge physically and emotionally.

She needs to raise as much money as possible so I was hoping
that you guys may be able to help, anything big or small will be most
appreciated, the more she gets the more
that can go to the orphanage. You can donate by simply going to her just giving
page which is Samantha Trewin is fundraising for St John Ambulance

If you are unable to sponsor but have any of the following
you can donate then she will gladly take these items with her for the children.

Pens/pencils

Paper/Card

Beads

Sequins

Small teddies

Good quality children’s books

Children’s dictionary

Cotton/String

Any questions, please just ask.

Thank You

You'll get more attention in the main forum. Can't believe the mods would put this in here.

Can I suggest that you contact the club and ask if they want to donate anything?

ON second thoughts, you could try Sussex CCC and ask if they want to donate anything. India being cricket mad.

I went on a trip to Malawi and the Body Shop were very good. They donated all sorts of things, including colourful hats.

Definintely try Sussex C.C. When we were out there, Sussex played a blinder, PR wise and took out loads of pencil cases, pens and pencils which myself, Mendoza and Edna were tasked with distributing. The local kids went absolutely disco mental for them.
