A look at the 'tactics' and team selection would be a good start. England look totally clueless and so predictable-another couple of reasons.

Problem 1. Croatia now know all they have to do is kick the ball goalwards and its going in.
Problem 2. We have too many players that can't even get in their club side. Surely we should have picked any left back, even out of the championship, who has played a game recently.
Problem 3. Tactics. When did John Beck take over? Surely we should be looking to bring on Leo Fortune West so we've got 2 players to smash the ball at?
Problem 4. Perhaps McLaren should sit somewhere near his No2 to discuss things.
Problem 5. The best deliverer of a ball is sitting on the bench. One look at the pitch would possibly have told even me that SWP and Joe Cole might not be best suited to this game.
Problem 6. Croatia are far better than us. It may end up 4 or 5. People that think we will get back into this are deluded.
Positive 1. At least Scotland didn't qualify.
