I am a locksmith by the way. A word of advice, If you do call someone out from Yellow Pages, make sure they are not one of the big call centres. ( Get a local locksmith who will not charge inflated charges). Beware most adverts in YP and Thomson are call centres who sub out their work to Locksmiths like myself at much higher prices than say I would charge.

A sure give away is they usually ask your postcode first as they don't know where you are in the UK.

If you are not locked out where is the problem................ just change the mortice lock or the barrel if its a front door night latch.
