I did security at TopMan for a while a few years back. They had a T-Shirt that had the Hells Angels “winged skull” design on it. Word obviously got to the HA’s. One afternoon I heard the shop fall silent. I turned around and about 10 HA’s walked calmly in, scooped up all the aforementioned T-Shirts form the racks. One of them went up to the counter:
“We’ll just take this lot off your hands yeah”?
The manager just nodded compliantly as they removed all the shirts from the shop.
Needless to say, I didn’t intervene.

So you didn’t feel the urge to tell them to stop being so precious then?

Did you say you worked in security?

I almost had an urge to help them.
Funnily enough I’ve since done security where the organisers used Hells Angels as security. I was standard venue security and the act had Angels as their private security.
So we had myself and some Angels on the door.
The guy went off to the toilet and left his water bottle. I as dealing with something and services cleared away the bottle.

He came back and played me totally.

“Where’s my water gone”?

Me: “uhm, I uh, uhm, somebody took it”

“You’re shit at security. Can’t even protect a water bottle”.

In fact , I’m not sure he was actually joking. I had to stand next to him for four hours . He didn’t want to talk to me. He scared me.

Behind My Eyes
Two stories here
On Saturday 1st June 2019, 3000 Hells Angels are having a bit of a bash somewhere secret in Surrey. At some point 700 of them are riding down to Brighton in a convoy, assisted by the local constabulary who will act as outriders, closing junctions etc to allow free flow of the convoy..
With all Police leave cancelled it seems the police may be expecting trouble.
If you are traveling to the Amex Saturday for the Lionesses I would allow for some hold ups. Other than leaving from Pease Pottage, no route or timing has been disclosed.

Can't they move it to 9th June? Then they could mingle with the Naked Bike Ride Nutters :)

I was on a flight a few years ago. It was severely delayed whilst we waited for the remaining 10 or so passengers. Tempers were rising, people were arguing they should leave without them etc....then 10 or so hells angels boarded and the angry cabin immediately fell silent.

You should have politely informed them that they would be unable to return them without a receipt.

The HA are mostly invisible in the UK these days. They like to keep a low profile. In reality they are as much a business organisation as they are a biker gang, a shady business group mind. But best not to cross them when push comes to shove unless you really know what you are doing. But a rally expecting thousands of HA is a display of force, I wonder why?

May be wise to pretend that there isn't an apostrophe in this case.

Some are here already. Saw three from Greece walking past the King and Queen earlier. They were all sporting a Bruno beard for the trip, which I thought was a nice touch. I gave them all a good slapping of course and told them "You ain't nuffink compared to 'The Sons of Acne' from Croydon." Actually that last bit may have happened in my head only. Nutters the lot of them. You are. Am I? What? Carry on as you were. Up The Albion!

My wife and I were visiting San Francisco once and decided to go see a blues musician. We showed up to the bar early and bought a ticket. At that moment 10 motorcycles roared up to the club and parked on the sidewalk. I said "looks like you've got bikers for the night", the owner said "that's the motherfu***** leader of the Hell's Angels". Everyone in the club visited him and shook his hand, they were basically treated like royalty for the night.
