He's on an absolute fortune (£15-20k a week), QPR pay most of his wages as Watford could not afford to.
I think he is over-rated, especially now. Watford fans love him because he was quality for them several years ago, but he did nothing at Fulham and can't get near QPR's first team.
He doesn't strike me as a Poyet sort of player, his game is very physical and about 90% of his goals are headers.

I've seen him play this season and he looks nothing like the player he was in his first period at Watford. Most of my Watford supporting mates reckon he's finished and not worth a place in thier current team.

While I think Poyet knows who he wants to bring in (or at least some of who he wants to bring in) doubt it is knowledge outside his immediate trust base.
