Can anybody enlighten me about that curry house by the station that claims to be only one in UK that offers currys with health improving properties.

Has anyone eaten there ?

Were they running around like Linford Christie afterwards ?

Yeah, it's called 'spice nutriment'... Though there are several other places in Brighton that make similar claims. They're ok curries, and quite low in oil, but personally I think they cook the veg so much that there's unlikely to be much nutrient left in them, plus they're relativaly bland and take an hour and a half.

It's not just theirs. Any curry is supposed to be a cure for all sorts of cancers and also Alzheimer's. So Currys are the new miracle health product. You have to eat three or four a week though.

No, to cook! The minimum delivery time is an hour and a half cos they're all cooked from fresh. My old housemates used to swear by them but I tend to plump for raj pavillion, I guess it depends on your taste. I also found nutriment' tended to blend everything, whereas I like nice chunky bits of vegetable in my curry. :)

If they're claiming that, they're wrong....there's one in Worthing that claims the same, can't remember the name at present :(

Way out west
curries= greasy not healthy, but tasty

Depends how you cook them, would agree that they can be greasy if you use excessive amounts of oil, not all asian food is cooked like that. One of my favourite curries, although not Indian, is a Thai green chicken curry...made with loads of fresh veggies in it, which I believe is fairly healthy and couldn't in any way be described as greasy.

Indian food bad for you...I will hear naan of that nonsense!

We used to use Spice Nutriment all the time, but think the quality started to slip over the last couple of years.

Added to that, their "Scores on the Doors" rating for hygiene is terrible, one of the worst in Brighton.
