I think if you read from the start of the thread that this poll relates to the season which has just finished.
Therefore, all those who voted for play offs etc were talking about div 2, not next season in div 1.
So don't worry, we are not all going overboard! Clearly, the last few postings on the thread since it was resurrected after the weekend show a more sober view of next season.
For the record, mid table!

So did I mr C, having chosen a relegation battle, if applied to the season just finished I must rank as the worlds greatest pessimist, when in reality my choice marks me as an optimist for next season.

Impossible to comment, untill we start next season. We have no idea about players being bought in/squad strenghing etc...can't comment.

We won't be taking the piss and giving the rest of the pack a thirty point start this time around and - hey! - maybe we won't even change managers - so a spiffing just-below-mid-table will position us just nicely in the first season of the build-up to Falmer.
