Don't know what part the BBC had in this drama/film however rivetting veiwing, superb acting and direction and yet again shows that you don't need violence or swearing to make a quality programme.

If was actually any good, the BBC almost certainly had nothing to do with it at all.

Utterly ridiculous statement.

Perfectly justafiable statement given that, in my opinion, 99% of the shite this dinasaur of a so-called television network spews out is, at best, not worth the electricity it takes to run my HDTV.

The whole bunch or arse heads should be sold off to the private sector so that we can get some decent programmes.

Oh, and to be forced to have pay a license fee for something I won't even have on in the house, is, quite frankly, in contravention of the monopolies and mergers act - i.e f***ing illegal.

Yes, I hate the BBC.

Yeah those David Attenborough programmes are rubbish and their Olympics coverage was awful and don't start me off on that bloody Office series................:wozza:

And their website, which has so much stuff and so good it's incurred the wrath of Rupert Murdoch.

Personally I'd pay the licence fee for the Cbeebies website.

Actually can I be the first to post on this thread who actually saw the programme a good few Christmas's ago.

Its just some blokes in a room talking, but if you actually trouble to watch it you will realise just how chilling and well acted it was. Kenneth Branagh was superb, as were the rest of the cast. Has it been repeated recently?

So what great programmes has ITV produced recently then that back up your statement that the private sector makes better tele?
