That's how I saw it as well. He looked assured and comfortable before the own goal. But after that our whole TEAM fell apart. It was a pretty dreadful own goal though

If you were looking properly, instead of bias views, I think you'd of seen he was fouled and slightly tugged by the player. And even so, it didn't directly lead to the third, it led to a corner which we should or could of defended.

In my opinion, I really don't know why people are calling for Virgo to be CB, as though he is some wonderful defender. He played very well for half of a game against City (in which everybody played brilliantly) and all of a sudden people are calling for him to be there. I didn't think he looked that good when he went to centre back today.

I do agree with you that he had a good first half but he DOES cost us a goal a game, unfortunately it was two in the 30 something odd minutes he played in the second half.

So you're saying he was at fault for the third? Even though it was just a corner and he wasn't directly at fault. Plenty of opportunity to clear the ball but he's at fault because he conceeded a corner?

Hawkins may be a very nice bloke and nothing against him but he is just not a very good league 1 centre back, the sooner his is dropped to the bench the sooner the team get better. He is the weak link in the team

Partly because we shouldn't have been defending a corner.


I haven't got anything against him but i don't like us conceding goals all over the shop, unfortunately he costs us one a game so should be dropped.
