[Misc] Have you had the heating on yet? [2017]

Just come in from match and put on for first time.
Sod's law the sitting room rad not working.
My fault, as usual, should have had all serviced in summer!!!

I haven't, but arrived at work today to find radiators blasting out so much heat it's like a green house ..... grrrrgggghhhh

I just had to open a window to get some AIR!

I got in from work, last night, and even I thought the house seems a bit chilly.
It turns out my heating is set to come on at 14 degrees.

I didn't change it, and it still came on this morning.

I've now cranked it up all the way to 16.

I hate it when the heating first comes on, seems to trigger my allergies and leave me sneezing for a week or more. I think it's to do with dust, which is one of my triggers, settling behind the radiators for months then suddenly being whirled about by convection.

You lot should try growing up in Scotland. When I were a lad, the whole family would spend the winter months huddled round a single candle. And if it got really cold, we'd light it.

The last few mornings when the missus has got up for work (4.30) have been a bit chilly, so I've just put the rads on for a half hour boost to take the edge off, but thats about it.

Just finished a walk along to la caleta from Costa ajede and it is 24degrees c

Air con just switched on as the room was a bit warm!!!!!
