Wife put the heating back on yesterday but a heat wave is forecast for early May, we shall just have to wait and see.

Interesting. Where did you get the info about this 'heat wave'?

Ours has been off since the mini heatwave. I suspect Mrs Giraffe will turn it back on Saturday evening whilst I'm on my way back from Burnley.

It will be on before you've even reached the A24 on Saturday morning.

I'm wondering if there'll ever be another evening where I don't pop the electric blanket on for a bit. Very probably the greatest invention ever.
I think this is a joke, but I don't get it

I had the cooling on for the first time a couple of days ago; with temps running in the high 90s for the last few days the house has been a little toasty in the evenings.

It’s bloody freezing in Essex today.

Temps down to 2 tonight. Don’t you love the British spring? Still got the paddling pool out in the garden.

With the early arrival of autumn, has anyone here got their heating on today?

My windows are still open. The rain brings humidity. I would imagine it’ll be at least another month before any man even thinks about it...

Isn’t this normal Summer weather? Heating goes on late October and that’s only to dry the washing.

Yes I have drained the system down every summer flush the rads and put new inhibitor in than run the boiler to get it all round the system also I think it's better to run it now and than rather than leaving it idle for 6months
