Hoped to leave it off until November, but didn't quite make it - thermostat set to 18 though, so not exactly belting out heat.

18?, normally set at 21 but with a new boiler pushed it up to 22 so no need for sweaters

I think this year was April. But I'm still swimming in the river at the end of the property, and was in April too!

Yes, 18. Uses a lot less gas, and is quite liveable.

Here we are again, summer’s just ended.

I’ve just been out-voted and we have the central heating on “to take the chill off the air”.

A bit ridiculous, it’s early September and 20c in the house (prior to the rads coming on). Morally too, not good for climate warming.

Growing up in the 70’s, I would guess that my Dad didn’t have the heating on until the second half of October.

Always preset at 18 degrees so if temp drops below , radiators come on .

Lol. 2 of them and a pair of wanky little dogs living in a massive house with an additional utility kitchen and outbuilding which has enough garage space for 6 cars and 3 bedrooms upstairs, the amount of electric gadgetry and surveillance cameras in the go 24/7 I’d say they’re using more than their fair share of electricity too, oh and they run 4 cars (2 classics) and a motorbike.
