Brighton factually.....
I think I have of course with testing as it is I will never know. Shortness of breath has been the worst part. Has left me.in tears at time with the pain. I'm fit and healthy with no underlying issues initially I thought my cough was just the one I had on and off since november.

That shortness of breath is the bit I am really worried about, the doctor told me last week I have shallow breathing, they have my blood results (I think they suspect diabetes) however I am waiting for a call from them to discuss the results, as they have cancelled my appointment for Wednesday. how long did the shortness of breath last days/weeks ? Oh I don't like the sound of this at all, stressing me out already.

My colleague says he has it. I dropped round some work for him keeping a respectful 2 meters away and staying in his front garden.

He looked quite jolly really but says he has a sore throat, and a blinding headache and has had since Sunday. He was self isolating with his wife and children who were all fine.

so it seems cruel to almost force them to get it.

Anyway I painted a big read cross on the door before going back and setting fire to the house and everyone in it - better to be safe than sorry.

An ex-colleague got back from kitzbuhel last week, one of the last out. Just updated fb stating that he has most likely had the virus. Ticks all the box’s regards symptoms. He’s just turned 50 and is in good health. Felt shit for a couple of days with a fever and feeling chesty .... now up and about but a feeling a bit tired.

Can you define shit?
Couldn't be arsed to pick a tenner up off the floor?
Happy to go out and hang some washing up, but that was enough?
Happy to watch, porn all day?

A colleague has the fever and cough symptoms and is self-isolating since Friday. He updated in an email that he doesn't feel too bad and is continuing to work effectively from home. He stated that 'hopefully' he hasn't got it and that it's just a standard cold, but on reflection I'd have thought that it's better if he has got it. Although I'll wait until he's fully recovered to suggest that.

Got it.

I struggle with the bed when I'll, I had flu last year first time for decades, and even then I managed to get down the stairs, although I was pretty much stuck to the armchair for a few days!

Strange thing....I know nobody and know of nobody who has deffo had it.

That is the worst thing about the current handling of the crisis - no testing. Anyone who has a cold/flu and self isolates won't know if they've had it or not, whether they are now safe or immune or just as much in danger as the rest of us. As long as the policy of not testing (and I do realise the resources are probably not there to test everybody) remains we'll not know who is safe, or how much the virus is being combatted (or not).

The financial cost of people self-isolating when they haven't got the virus at all is potentially disastrous.

I've had it for a week or so now. I'd had a cough for ages it had died out a bit but came back and then the shortness of breath started
I have no idea in reality because I've never had the fever

For the past four weeks I’ve had what I assume was a chest infection. A few times I felt a bit weak and dizzy. It came with a cough too and is only just easing off. I was a bit short of breath for a couple of weeks and my lungs still make weird whistling noises when I breathe lying down in bed.

As the cough started a week or two before the chestiness, so very early February, it never occurred to me that it might be Covid-19 so I didn’t self isolate. I went to the football and been around my mum and I don’t think anyone has caught anything.

I suppose it’s wishful thinking to believe that I’ve already had it.

I genuinely believe I have it.

Came back from Morrocco last week. Also went out in London Friday and Saturday Evening.

Made it into the office yesterday (London Bridge) but had developed a "Dry" cough (something I have never had before!).

Struggled to sleep last night and woke up at 3am shivering but clammy. Only Paracetamol could get me back to sleep.

Today I feel achey all over and only well enough to go for a walk if dosed up on paracetomol!

I am a fairly healthy guy in my late 20's so hoping can shake it off soon!
