I ask, as I have a brother who is not interested in football AT ALL, was at Wembley when San Marino scored what was then the quickest goal in international football ever. It means NOTHING to him.

My first Brighton game was Peter Ward's last league game for us but I don't think I have a tale to really dine out on (apart from the last match at The Goldstone and Hereford, which count!)

Who has?

I witnessed Fred Binney scoring several goals. Surely the slowest striker in football, ever (but still, brilliant)

Most goals scored in a second half by the Albion perhaps, beating WALSALL 7-0 after an extremely dull and scoreless first half. (hope history repeats this Saturday).

Worst World Cup Final, Brazil v Italy decided on pens after a boring goal-less match

I was on a boat close to where they originally tried to raise the Mary Rose and the whole thing went awry and they had to stop but I did get to see an unrecognisable few bits of wood as they broke surface after 500 odds years on the seabed which was quite interesting and a bit of history I guess.

I think a fair few of is will have been at the 5 penalties game at Palace, including myself. Played in the junior seagulls game beforehand too.

The nearest I get, I think, is being down the road when a bloke wanders into MacDonalds and shot about 40 people, in Kilene (sp) Texas.

First goal of the millennium.

The one big day I did miss was the Millenium stadium but that was due to my new born daughter coming out of hospital and that would always take precedence, afterall, I'm not a bloody geordie and Football isn't my religion.

Edit - I didn't mention Kelvin Morton at Palace because we lost and it was crap but I was there.

In footballing terms, other than the odd Albion game (5 penalties at Palace), my best was being in the away end at Chelsea when Dalglish scored on the last day of the season to seal the league title for Liverpool. (I think it must have been the 85/86 season).

I was at Wembley when Lineker FLUFFED the pen that would have equaled Charlton's 49 for England
