Once, in one direction - train from Brighton to PP.

Every other time I've either been parked across the road from Withdean (Fawlty Towers, sorry, the Preston Park and one time I had to sneak inside the parking perimiter very early to bale it out for a ferry) or have had a daily bus ticket anyway.

No. I think it's an unfair and iniquitous 'tax' on local fans which actually penalises people for walking to Withdean (which is surely the greenest form of 'transport' we can use) as there's no way we can get a rebate.

Word.

Only time I ever use the damn thing is if my exit from the Tap coincides exactly with a bus arriving at the stop at the bottom of Preston Drove. Don't need the bus ride, don't even want the bus ride, but might as well get something for my fiver local tax for local people now and again. Most hated tax since Thatcher's Poll Tax IMHO. Still, at least I never paid a penny of that

I'm glad they don't collect them any more - because I frequently use the voucher twice in each direction.

Train from Lewes to London Road; walk down the hill to the bus stop; bus to Withdean. Vice versa on the way home. That's £7.50 worth of travel at pay-on-the-day adult ticket prices (or £6.00 with a PlusBus ticket from the railway).

Alternatively, park and ride from Mithras House.

Early train from Seaford - a few hors in the city - bus or train to withdean -match - train to brighton station - watch the 5-30 game in a pub - train back to seaford

Good value take the cost of this amount of travel of the match day ticket - then not so expensive after all
