Have you ever played with a pro?

I've played cricket against Matthew Walker (of Kent) who scored millions against us, bowled his dad (ex-Kent) for a duck (but he was getting on a bit) and also bowled Ozzie Wheatley (ex pro/selector and also very old).

I played rugby with Alex King at school, he was a first team player at 15, whilst the rest of us were 17/18, and cricket with Mike Strong (Northampton and Sussex) and Clare Connor (England Ladies).

Yeah played against a few of the old Brighton players.
They might have lost pace but they never lose the touch is what i would say.

Having Gerry Ryan do our pe-season training years ago was the best though.
First time i really looked forward to training every week !

Played with Adam El-Abd for Saltdean School - but he was in the year above at Saltdean Tigers/United. Played with him at lunch and in PE at Longhill and had a kick around in my back garden a few years ago too.
