Since my life isn't over yet - how am I supposed to know if I've had the time of my life??

But honestly...right here and right now from a personal point of view I'm living the time of my life :) and long may it continue :)

Surely it is possible to know that you've had the time of your life because what's the best thing you've done to date? If you can answer that question then whatever it is must have been the time of your life.

Anyway, I digress-

Last holiday in California & Nevada with Mrs Turnip a year ago. Spent two weeks driving from LA to Palm Springs & Joshua Tree National Park, up to Las Vegas, back through Death Valley and down to San Diego.

We made it up as we went along which allowed us to spend as long as we liked in each place. Spent tons of money (probably still paying for some of it now) but saw some fantastic sights, stayed in some great places and met loads of really interesting people.

The weather was great, we had soft top and not a care in the world.

I'd love to be back there now.

heres another one that no doubt Dropkick can relate too :D

Seeing your most fave band EVER live for the first time, highlights include for me:
AC/DC at Wembley Arena 1995 - Liked them for years and finally saw them live and oh boy what a show they put on!
Pennywise at Reading festival 1999 - Again liked them for years and when they came on stage they jumped straight into my fave song of theirs....complete quality gig and have seen them twice since then!

At the time theres nothing else happening in thw world apart from you being in a venue surrounded by like minded punkers/rockers all signing along and enjoying every moment of one of your fave bands of all time up on stage...quality!

Definitely and it's AC/DC for me as well. Saw them at Milton Keynes two summers ago, having been a fan for 20-odd years but never actually managing to see them. It was well worth the wait!!

It was a great weekend as well with a couple of my old mates off on our own again like the teenagers we were when we first met.

Crabtree you bastard, I'm welling up!

I'll be having the time of my life throughout November!

No work, No shit weather, No overpriced and watered down lager. Just Sun, Sand, Sea and Sex (sorry in advance to the missus) in the land down under!
:drink: :clap2:  :mexican:
