Have you ever done anything that would besmirch the name of our fine football club?

Thrown out of the Amex twice by Spetsnaz Stewards and a midget policeman who's helmet badge was in line with the bottom of mine

We'll... I went to see palace vs Huddersfield on a bitterly cold day before the holmesdale stand was built when both sides were totally shite. It was 0-0 10 minutes to go and the palace started singing a anti brighton song. I gave them the finger and was escorted out the ground by two coppers for making obscene gestures.

I was asked by this jobsworth copper where I was from and I said, brighton. He accused me of being a trouble maker, until I explained to the thicko that I was born in Huddersfield and lived in brighton. The bloody copper had the audacity to say if I was spotted outside the ground I would be arrested. I went and sat in my car, with the heater on as it was so fecking cold.

Was one of the group who broke down the turnstiles at the Oak Road end Luton in the 70's. Occupied the stand for a while before being herded back out by the old bill. Whereupon we bravely knocked a pile of programmes from the hand of a young lady selling them.

On behalf of those of us around the world who can't be there, can I politely request that some besmirching is done for us in absentia?

In return, we'll be happy to take any match bans that come your way.

Many thanks in advance.

At least two former residents of 82 Holmes Avenue will be in attendance and happy to do some of our besmirching on your behalf.

Besmirching you say?

Let's say, hypothetically of course, whilst at the Millennium Stadium for a Play Off Final a slightly inebriated Albion fan DESPERATELY needed the toilet, not wanting to miss any action and finding the only available toilet locked, would taking a piss in the middle of the stairs at said stadium count as besmirching the fine name of the club?

Escorted out of Vicarage Road by the OB in 1984 prior to the FA Cup match for singing "Elton John is a homosexual" the week after he married that German bint. The policeman said he couldn't be gay because he'd just tied the knot and didn't want such songs spoiling Elton's honeymoon.

Had to pay to get in again, wasn't happy.

At Brisbane Road I once saw a dad accosted for leading his child across the corner of the terrace that was actually taped off simply because it was practical as his child was desperate for the loo. The terrace looked fine and honestly it was nothing but in jumped PC Action am who started reading the Corn Laws. Loved it when all the Albion fans waded into the officer (verbally) meaning the Sgt Sensible had to come over and have a word with PC Action to 'let it go' and always remember the Dad remonstrating 'what's his problem, first day in long trousers?' :) A small victory for common sense against official stupidity. To this day we still debate whether he 'besmirched'?

Wasn't the song, " Elton John's a fairy?"

In a way this is a fit and proper punishment, like an on the spot fine as you had to pay to get back in again. These days it would go to court and take tens of thousands of pounds with more drama than the Eastenders omnibus. No wonder our courts are clogged up. Sensible old fashioned policing. Even if unfair because factually you were correct! Hope the Met gave you your money back. #PoliceBrutality ;)

I once watched a premiership match in which Crystal Palace played some good football ending with a Bolasie goal and I embarrasingly complimented him, and Zaha who had set him up, out loud in the vasinity of friends who know I support brighton.

Sorry for letting the club down in such a way

Oh look ,lets try and put people off from having a bit of a laugh ........... pathetic , I'M SURE Darren and his mates will have their beady eyes on procedings , so glad I'm not going

Probably one of the stupidest comments from someone who types tripe.

With that attitude, I for one am glad you won't be there. Actually you don't deserve to support our amazing club, or any club for that matter.

Go and get an education.
