McGhee was with the dodgy version of FM2005/06.

It said Malango and Turienzon were good....

He really should have checked further I agree, the spelling of the names is a dead giveaway to anyone in the know

You'd be surprised how much you can get for advertising crappy stuff honestly!

I have sold a couple of things that weren't in brilliant shape, and through starting at a low bid and letting everyone know exactly how damaged the item was, I got as much as I might usually expect for the same item in good condition!

What amazes me is that certain people buy of people who have bad feedback.

There was a guy last year who paid £800 for a PICTURE of a xbox360. The guy selling the item had feedback that showed he was doing it to other people yet people still fell for it.

some people will never learn, look at an item that is too good to be true and fall hook line and sinker

I agree. I was always told that if something looks to good to be true, then it is more then likely a lie.

I remember hearing a story about a bloke who sold a tin of beans on e-bay. Instead of just charging one figure for the can, he sold each bean off at a certain price one by one!:D

Someone tried to rip me off with a fake signed Barcelona shirt once. Not only was it not actually signed by the players, but the shirt was a fake too.

I did get all my money back though, and kept the shirt so he couldn't rip someone else off.

I thought I had bought Winning Eleven 6 for the Gamecube last year, only to find on reading the small print that I had in fact wasted £20 on a photocopied set of instructions for it.:glare:

I remember quite a while back there was someone selling jars of Brighton air. He was saying that it had been jarred on the beach so the buyer would be getting genuine sea air and stuff like that - cant remember if it sold or not!!!!!
