Has the Palace game been postponed again? This led to wondering have we ever beaten (or drawn with) someone and thus ensured their relegation ?

Yes they threw back Johnson(the captain I think) . I'm sure O'Hara was involved in an argument with them though after the gameO’Hara played the full 90 mins. I think it might have been Roger Johnson’s shirt they threw back.
During the game. They sang ‘50 grand you’re having a laugh’ and he gestured at them from the halfway line and nearly caused a riot. The myth on NSC is that he threw his shirt and it was thrown back when it was Roger Johnson. O’Hara wouldn’t have dreamed of going over to the Wolves fans that day.Yes they threw back Johnson(the captain I think) . I'm sure O'Hara was involved in an argument with them though after the game
Charlton a few years back 3-1 win at the Valley with the joint protests - they may have already just been relegated can't recall exactly
Dagenham were still in 19th after that game, a point outside of the relegation places. They did end up being relegated that season though. On another note, and I’m prob wrong, did we relegate Dagenham the night we won the league or were they already down or just near the bottom?
I think we should include Reading missing out on the play offs
Gives me the chance to post this clip again

That’s true, they were 16th after completing their games.Blackpool in 1978… although it was a few weeks later when all the games had been played and they were confirmed as relegated
We've relegated Wolves twice. The 1985 5-1 victory as good as sent them down (well, they would have needed maximum points from their last two and turned round a 20 odd goal defecit)Hard to say completely though, isn't it? Perhaps if Wolves had scored a couple early against us, the Barnsley fans would've got wind of it and the atmosphere more nervous at their game, which affected the result.
Ok probably clutching at straws a bit. But the games aren't completely independent on the final day, scores in other games can have an impact on each other.
Nope. They were down. But what an atmosphere. I was in with the Charlton fans (printer mate took me). It was visceral.Charlton a few years back 3-1 win at the Valley with the joint protests - they may have already just been relegated can't recall exactly
Exactly - Adkins was such a twat too - I will always remember his walk to the dugouts in the home game! Schneiderlin jeez I forgot about him - good player! The fact they went down makes Poyet saying they were just Southampton without Lambert even funnier.
Fonte, Ox, Lallana, Schneiderlin etc. The fact we pissed the league against that team is mental.
