Same season as the 2-3 vs Utd where they were rewarded a penalty after the FT whistle had gone. On the whole I don’t have good memories of watching the vast majority of those lockdown home games in 19/20. Felt like we were cursed.
That Man U game was the one I was going to mention. Was pretty crushing.

I was thinking the same one losing against them after hitting the woodwork 4 times. Really set the tone of the entire season. Good football and terrible results

I'd call it outrageous and f***ing annoying. I wasn't crushed. I was livid.

That's the one I immediately thought of. Was watching with a Villa fan in a bar on Crete. The Villa fan was as angry about what happened as I was.

Not sure if it was last minute, but remember a crushing defeat away at Chesterfield around 2000/01 season when we were both going for the title. Oatway had been sent off sometime in the match and we deserved a point and a late goal did for us.

But 'honourable' mention to the Benteke goal at the Amex during Covid times. Went to bed numb. Shocked and angry in equal measures

That 95th minute Benteke goal in 2021 was unbelievably painful. 75% possession, 25 shots to their 3…I had resigned myself to accepting a draw. And then it got worse - much, much worse. The worst feeling I’ve had caused by sport for as longs as I can remember.

Very much THIS - still makes me angry 😡

I do remember being at Northampton in the late 1980s when they scored a last-minute winner.

Only for Gerry Armstrong to equalize!

The Villa goal that cost us the title and me £1k. Have it in my mind to ask Stockdale for it if I ever bump into him. We could have had a chair in goal that day and come away with the win.

Spurs was only a few weeks ago.

And the penalty shoot out v Man Utd is not even a year ago.

Casper was in goal that day I thought?

Oh yes - forgot the Spurs game. Obviously blanked it from memory!

Not sure that penalty shoot-outs count - not so much a 'last gasp' moment really,
