At Reading I thought Currie looked pretty dire. Just goes to show what a bit of fitness can do, as he looked a real quality player at Watford.

Beckham-like with his passing ability, only better than Beckham on current form.

Perhaps that was McGhee's masterstroke- Currie always had a decent reputation but never went higher than the lower leagues. He comes across now as a man with a point to prove, and we're seeing the benefits of that. Long may it continue.
