Or has the lack of sleep being playing with my eyes.

But is owen really in line to be recalled to the England team, if this is true capello really needs to go.

I ant one for sacking but that's idiotic esp with the young talent just as good.

I hope your wrong - but i have all but given up on England these days - I'm sure i read it right in Gary Nevilles book that half of the England team don't like playing for England much anyway.

Other than Rooney who the hell do you play up front for England we really do lack a natural striker and poacher.

Big clubs in England - Man U - up front Rooney and - oh a bunch of foriegners. Man City - Foriegners again, Chelsea more non english, Arsenal - ditto. Liverpool - Andy Carroll but he's not really top of his game just yet. Spurs - foriegners and and below par defoe.

And don't even get me started on the midfield...........

Cappello is clutching at straws but you all forget that according to Fifa we are 4th in the World. Plus who the hell would want the England job anyway?

Worthing
Seems to be firing under McLeish, think Sturridge is a definite starter though!

I never understood why Heskey was preferred to Gabby. He's a brick shit house, can do all the holding forward/target man stuff that (is all) Heskey can do, and can finish chances and is one of the fastest strikers going, to boot.

Also agree with Sturridge, that loan spell last season seems to have worked wonders.

Owen is a finisher, give him a chance and 9/10 he will score. His scoring record for club and country speaks for itself.

Worth taking imo.

In the midlands at the moment to see the in-laws and they're all Villains. They are so happy about how Gabby is back to his best.

Regarding Sturridge, wasn't he offered to Liverpool as part of the Torres deal? Bet Dalglish feels foolish about that
