Was undecided, but on reading the manifestos Labour’s blows the others out of the water.

Have issues with Corbyn as a leader (and McDonnell), but Labour aren’t getting a majority.

Therefore I’m effectively voting for a centre-left coalition, which I think would be the most pragmatic, sensible way forward for a divided country right now.

It's great to have an election with barely a mention of UKIP, but somewhat ironic that the party that started all of this mess may simultaneously be annihilated and yet see their ultimate aim of Brexit realised.

I have always voted Conservative but cannot abide by Brexit and its consequences. When the election was called my intention was a vote for the Lib Dems and that is what I will vote.

Yes and No. I didn't vote in the last two GEs as I didn't like Brighton Pavilion Labour party's excellent impression of the Vichy French and the way they've just collaborated with the invader. I was going to vote for the Socialist candidate, but there wasn't one this time, and Labour, for once, had a decent candidate so I voted for him.

Cuts both ways, there’s a misconception that tactical voting is an anti Tory preserve and is new. It’s always gone on in marginals and has de-seated countless MP’s.

Well of course it does but I cannot see as many Brexit supporting Tory voters tactically voting for anyone else this time around than your middle of the road Labour /Lib Dem voters

Genuinely no one has a clue on the overall effects either way, or of the working class type voters we’ve seen interviewed on TV in the last 5 weeks saying “Anything but Corbyn”. A few hours to go and we’ll be put out of our misery!

Have to say having voted for the same party for some time I came into the election with an open mind, due to the uniqueness of this election, and have only moved from that neutral position to voting for who I'd normally go for.

I had a long conversation with a colleague in a very marginal constituency where the last time around, Labour got in with a 200 vote majority, and Lib Dems only got 1,000 or so. He was going to vote Lib Dem, as he wants to stop Brexit. I couldn't work out why he didn't understand my point that voting Lib Dem where he was is pointless if that's what he wants to do, and he should vote Labour to make sure there isn't one more Tory MP.

About two hours later, he phoned me to ask why his vote would be wasted, as presumably the more votes Lib Dems got, the more seats they would have. I explained the difference between PR and FPTP.

He is 50, and relatively well educated.

He will now be voting Labour.

I'd be amazed if anyone has to be honest, barring a few who've had the decision taken away from them by parties pulling out of seats. It's easily been the lamest, limpest and most nondescript campaign in recent history, primarily (but by no means exclusively) because of the refusal by the PM to actually engage in it for most of the time.

I suppose I meant it would be illegal for NSC to have a thread on what people had actually voted, or even a poll !

I live in a LibDem/Tory marginal, Labour poll at around 8-10% and there's no Green. I will, reluctantly, vote for the LD candidate in order to prevent a Tory getting in.

Many people are in the same position all over the country and we need proper electoral reform so that peoples' votes don't have to be tactical to actually count.
