If there were an obvious replacement who looked willing to come I think he’d be sacked already and deservedly so.
He out of his depth.
He shows no passion before, during or after matches.
The teams performances are a reflection of this.
Previous tactical changes seemed a positive in the past but now they have little effect.
He’s been unable to fix our defensive issues.
He not finding solutions to our situation in the final third.
He’s getting the team to play nice football at times but we look gutless and predictable so it’s not effective.
He’s unable to drag the team out of slumps. He proved this last season where he needed lockdown to rebuild the teams confidence.
The team is devoid of ideas and appetite.
This may not be our slump and it’s still due to come.
It’s not an impulse reaction. He’s had 50 games and his record is poor. He out of his depth.
As I said, if a perfect replacement was available he’d be toast. But I guess we just need to put up with pretty passing with no bite or balls for the remainder of the season. It’s inevitable what the result of that formula is.
Been saying it for a while and after Fulham and shef United a few more will be agreeing with me.

I just can't see how he thinks playing Burn at left back is a good idea? Alzate and Bissouma should start in midfield. Last night was the first time I've truly questioned him. Fulham, Sheffield United and Arsenal coming up. If he f**ks them up I don't think he'll be manager in 2021

To be honest, losing away at Leicester doesn't alter my thinking in the slightest.
We are obviously going to struggle again this year, all misplaced optimism aside I am not really sure why people are expecting anything else.
We are just about where our wage budget suggests we should be? Anyone have the figure for this?

As already stated above, the tinkering is killing us. We need some sort of stability, players to make on the pitch relationships so the team knows how to play, who to pass to, who are willing runners, who will cover if they themselves go on a run etc etc. With the seemingly random team selection each game this will never happen and we will continue to struggle.
I like Potter, he's got us playing some great football, but we still don't score enough and we concede too many. It needs addressing otherwise he will be out of a job and we will be in the championship.

I don't think anyone is surprised we lost. I think the problem is the performance and team selection.
Lets hope we step up and get some points against Fulham and Sheffield United

Our confidence is fragile. Until we conceded we had been playing OK, once that goal went in Leicester grew in confidence and ours went completely. We don’t seem to have any options at LB either and Leicester targeted Burn who had a mare. Question is who should we be playing there, or do we leave March back there too? March actually looked like our best attacking option so I think GP set us up OK everywhere except where we don’t have options
Lucky that Leicester took their foot off the gas as I saw another few goals as inevitable in the second half. I don’t have the answers but I do think that we are going to need a big slice of luck and a win to start to rebuild the belief. I am semi resigned to relegation as things stand.

Voted on the fence myself. If Potter had been given the tools to do the job and we where in the same position I would vote out

Your list is a bit harsh. How are you basing him showing no passion? On his media interviews? Come on, he obviously sees no value in shooting his mouth off, and does no more than he is contractually obliged.
I think underneath his dull media exterior Potter is a determined, imaginative and tough man. Don’t forget he inherited some dross big signings - aj, Locadia, Andone, Bernardo, Propper, Ryan. All have been varying levels of disappointing and that’s not on Potter.
He’s also improved a few - March, Bissouma, Lamptey.
Although yes, his methods need to be questioned noW. He needs to show what he’s got in the next two games. He could do with some more luck.
Also, I’m not saying Potter should be sacked , but there is a viable replacement. Eddie Howe.
He was unbelievably successful at Bournemouth, and lives down the road.
And dont anyone give me that “he got them relegated “ bullshit. He had one bad season, in about ten. Every manager has a shelf life, and he outstayed his. Probably too loyal for his own good. He’s now had a break and will be refreshed.
I’d have every confidence he would do well for us, if Potter cant sort us out.

Fence. I wouldn't personally sack him as there is a long term plan and he has two games almost immediately to redeem himself and the team. I wouldn't shed any tears if he resigned this morning though.

Perhaps GP could have resisted the urge to tinker with formation and personnel ? I don’t know if 3 at the back with wing backs is our best formation but he does, so why change it ? He didn’t have to drop Webster. All he had to do was swap him and Dunk around and play March and Veltman at WB. We had already lost Lamptey so why make unforced wholesale changes to the structure and personnel in defence. I am in the ‘Potter in’ camp but his selections have to improve.

Argghhh. Why do fans ask other fans this question all the time whenever someone questions a manager? It’s not up to a supporter who’s job doesn’t entail knowing the world football management landscape to find a manager when one leaves. You know the club will be monitoring all sorts of potential managers all the time if they are running the club well?
As for in/out if he doesn’t get at least four points from the next two games then you have to say out. We’re a year and a half into the experiment, win barely any games, can’t score easy chances, and leak like a sieve. Failure to demonstrate we are ahead of two of the divisions relegation favourites means almost resigning ourself to relegation if he stays.

True but other than Eddie Howe or the dinosaurs who else has the experience at this level and is available? Replacing Potter with another inexperienced manager seems a little foolhardy to me, so it is not unreasonable to ask fans who want him out who they’d like to replace him is it? We all seem to be happy to offer opinions on what the manager is doing wrong so why not on who should replace him?
Just saying, not good enough, get rid without offering an opinion of who you might like to see is sidestepping the issue of who replaces him
Who knows, the club may have targets but we are unlikely to get them mid season

Like I said I’m not paid to know the managerial options in world football but if the club aren’t seriously looking then they are negligent as failure to pick up any decent points in the next games playing several relegation rivals means we are nailed on to go down if we keep Potter imo.
