Has there ever been more away fans at a game than home fans?

I was at that game at Selhurst when David Beckham scored from the halfway line. There were loads more Man Utd fans than Wimbledon, probably 3 to 1

I was at that game as well!

This happens a lot in Germany, where the reserves of the big sides play in the 3rd division and lower leagues.

You get these freaky games, where only 1 - 200 people turn up for the home side, playing proper teams with proper away support who are looking round at an empty ground.

It also skews things because the reserve sides sometimes include big stars for one game only to help with recovery from injury. One week Man Utd II will be the reserves, then suddenly for one game, a 3rd div team has to face Wayne Rooney, or equivalent.

That's why it must never happen here!
