I have Amazon Prime. I won't be watching.
They’ve a bloody cheek haven’t they, advertising it like they’ve rescued football for the masses.
I have Amazon Prime. I won't be watching.
Was thinking exactly this - absolutely pointless fixture to be the only one today...
But Palace's two games since Restart began have both been away – Plucky and Liverpool.
Tonight, they're at home.
So this is the world's first chance to see Palace's new stand in all its glory.
Football fans from across the globe are waiting for this moment, the unveiling of what's surely the greatest monument to football stadia ever imagined.
The game is but a mere sideshow.
Give Palace their due, this will be the first time that a full scale cardboard cutout stand will be shown on TV in all its glory - hope it doesn’t rain or those three tiers will become one.
. Still, maybe a plane will fly over
As a P.S., My daughters boyfriend has just applied for the ticketing and bookings managers post at Palace. The major drawback is he will get a free season ticket, if successful. The money is very good though.
Isn't it always at Palace ?
I'm really looking forward to watching.........the playoff final
If we were mid table and playing Burnley would we be saying the same thing?
Coming all the way from Burnley, maybe it'll run out of fuel and crash into the 'new' stand. It could cause £100s of improvements.
Yeah, maybe getting a bit ahead of ourselves. Most fans of especially the big clubs probably still don't see us as much bigger or bigger at all than the likes of Bournemouth and these two.
Having said that, re tonight, an end of season mid table clash is one thing, but then add in a very low scoring team against a team of cloggers and christ it doesn't get any more uninspiring than that
For my sins, I’m watching this match ..... I couldn’t find it anywhere, until eventually I did on Amazon Prime.
Then immediately turning off the pathetic sound effects, which gave the completely false impression of a colossal crowd roaring on CP. Instead I can hear the coaching of a mouthy cockney ..... Ray Lewington?
