Been great - attacking football, but no defence, no plan B, would you be happy if he goes?

Seriously?? This is absolute bollocks, one of the things I hate most about football.... What is it with thinking like this. Such a disposable world you must live in.... Its like you treat football managers like disposable things, like your phone, clothes washer, car or bbq...don't like it....get a new one....Why can't we treat RDZ as a human being who could, if you permitted, build a dynasty at our club....

We lost to the team at the top of the table today, TOP OF THE TABLE. We had injuries again, AGAIN. Why should RDZ be expected to be able to turn out the perfect team for every situation with exactly the tactics and strategy to win every game, wouldn't it be boring winning the PL every season...how will changing managers change that we are MORE THAN LIKELY GOING TO LOSE TO THE TEAM AT THE TOP OF THE TABLE...

Need to pop off for my blood pressure tablets...

The style of play today was totally different, and bang on what it should've been IMO. Good to finally see a bit of tactical flexibility from RDZ.

Bar perhaps the subs being a bit late, I don't think anyone can level much criticism at the manager or players today.

I'm really not hoping someone else is in charge for the start of next season. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, we are always one bad appointment away from potential relegation.

That was a great performance today by both teams we were edged out by the team that sites top of the Premiership with 9 games to go without Mitoma, Pedro, Gilmoure, Millner misfiring Ferguson and an young Barco who appears to still be a bit away from first team Extended game time

 a good old fashioned shoeing for the OP’s ridiculous thread. Normally there is nuance, posters playing devil’s advocate for balance or laughs - not this time. This is a classic and well-deserved roasting.

Great job OP, you’ve made one of the worst threads in NSC history and united the entire board - even the tossers. pretty impressive!!!
Even the judgemental

What will be will be.

I'd be surprised if none of the big clubs looking for a new manager or ones likely to part with their manager at the end of the season don't make an approach. He won't appeal to all but I'm bracing myself that unless he signs a new deal and states he's happy to stay, that someone will come in for him in the summer.

If so, we just have to carry on with our recruitment as before and I'm sure the club have options lined up.

I never get too attached to any manager or player as there's little loyalty in the game today and if he goes he goes. I'd rather he stayed but no point worrying about something that as supporters is completely out of our control.
Got West Ham and Everton written all over it.

And there is f*** all chance of him even returning the call.

I'm wondering whether we are being a bit harsh. I checked the OP's recent posts, and there is nothing to suggest he's a troll. A bit fickle perhaps, but......

Personally I find it so refreshing that he is so honest in interviews. It’s obvious he will want to know what the vision is. He is in demand. I support him 100%. And I am sure we’ll have a plan to replace him quickly if needed. Been an absolute privilege to watch this team under him.
Have to agree. I find him a refreshing change from so much of the bland, anodyne pish that characterisises so many football interviews where people don't say what's on their mind.

Is he always right? No. Do I always agree with him? No.

But stay or go, it's been fun. And football should, first and foremost, be fun. IMHO, of course

Reminds me a bit of those calling for Potter to be sacked in January, furious when he decided to leave in September.

It’s like the media want the world to be distracted by rumours around RDZ and idiotically our fan base seems to want to do a lot of distabilising for them. Let’s start yet another thread.

Other threads are available for discussing whether he goes or stays. Don't need another one immediately after we've put in a good performance.

Besides, I absolutely refuse to take a thread seriuosly which features the instruction 'Discuss' in the opening post. Into Room 101 - sorry, the ignore thread button - it goes!

Who would have thought 3 years ago so much angst would occur for possibly a 3rd top half finish in a row!

I blame the invention of the fireguard, as that was the start.

Back in the 50's before this invention, stupid kids would fall into the fire and, sad though it was, Darwinism in action improved the human gene pool allowing us as a species to evolve. Then Health & Safety came in, with rubberised mats under swings/slides etc to keep kids that were too stupid to use children's play areas alive. We followed that up with putting safety caps on bleach, various kitchen cleaners, telling people that hot stuff is hot and cold stuff is cold and encouraging stupid people to stay alive, breed and stop dead the last 190,000 years of us evolving as a species.

And that, ladies and gentleman, is why we are where we are, reading this sort of bolleaux on a Sunday afternoon

Classic troll behaviour. The OP just watches the remaining posts and never gives their own opinion, nor feedback.

He specifically called out not marking man for man today to avoid getting caught on the counter, this is why Liverpool had more possession typically

Out of interest, how would you have set up today?
