Has Gus over exagerrated about signigs this week ?

The impression I had from the interviews on Sky and the Radio etc is that he has some exciting signings lined up. 3 or 4 close to agreeing deals and 2 hopefully signing this week. The Garvan thing shows money is not the object, but more what GUS wants..ie if he REALLY wanted this player and we had agreed a fee he would have persuaded him(I mean look at CMS). It appears he has very specific targets, they are negotiating hard and hopefully we will see some action...Lets face it, apart from Garvan have we any idea of the 5 players he is after??

This is a popular opinion and a bit pie-in-the-sky to be honest.... even man united miss out on people they want.

WE shouldn't have the attitude that we get everyone who we want, it's a bit ridiculous to be honest.

We got an offer accepted and Garvan didn't want to come for what we offered him; that's two way... he doesn't want to come, we don't want him for what he'd have wanted to come (if there was an amount he'd have come for).

He wasnt against Burgess Hill and worth another look at him, possibly this evening. Do we know that Gus was only talking to one player and agent today? Can anybody be sure he didnt have a meeting with another or even a third tomorrow and possibly a fourth or fifth.

That is the only game we have played on which to gauge him and he looked ok worths a 2nd look. So he plays tonight and Gus has another look and so it goes on until Gus is convinced one way or the other sufficient to make a decision.
