Yes - that’s really annoyed me……What’s the Brighton mentality then? So disrespectful and entitled - and pretty oblivious to what they did to our great club. I tell you what, I know who I’m prouder to support…
Like George Constanza working for the Yankees!Gotta wonder why they needed Winstanley.
It's such a bad deal I'm pretty sure even I could have brokered it.
Somebody texted me the morning after Tuchel got the chop saying this could be bad news for us, but I couldn't see it. I just couldn't see that Potter and that lot would be a good match. Purely gut feeling, no real basis, just didn't feel right. Oh well as long as we're OK!I always liked Potter when he was here but the move to Chelsea and the way it was done ended that. What really sticks out for me though is what it says of ego. Chelsea at the best of times is an INSANE choice for his first, and if he gets sacked, probably only ever job at a big 6 club. To go there when they are in major transition shows either a massive ego or a level of confidence that doesn't allow for the self-awareness to be humble.
You could argue managers like Conte and Mourinho are the same, but they've earned it, and neither put any effort into portraying themselves as any different from ego driven narcissists, whereas Potter does.

Anywhere outside of the top 8 and he will be sacked, if he lasts that long. For all Boehlys nonsense, he appears to have no real idea aside from just spunking money about.Although Boehly and the Chelsea board keep going on about patience and the "long term project", I do think if they drop down the table further and get close to the bottom 3 Potter will be gone. Interesting tweet quoted on the BBC site saying that Chelsea are on the same number of points at the same stage of the season as Blackpool in the 10/11 season when they ultimately went down.
As it turned out it was excellent news RDZ is a winner always found Potter flakey and full of excuses on bad runs blaming everything else apart from himself. RDZ apologised to supporters after the Forest game not good enough, Potter what do you expect you played at the Withdean once and maybe I need a history lesson.Somebody texted me the morning after Tuchel got the chop saying this could be bad news for us, but I couldn't see it. I agree with this. Shitting on someone if they were on fire would take too long and probably be ineffective. I am not an expert on this but can only see a burnt arse and newspaper.Ben Roberts needs to earn his salt
You’re a weirdo btw, you refuse to piss on people when they’re on fire!. Refusing to shit on them is just wrong
Emotional intelligence what a crock of shite sounds like a degree the thicko’s take just to get into uni and doss about for a couple of years. The irony that the thing people bang on about most with his career could be the thing that brings him down is delicious. Emotional Intelligence - that is all we kept hearing. And yet, he is getting more and more spiky with the press and that only works if you are Pep, Klopp or Jose - and even then, it can backfire on them.
Fulham did to Chelsea what they did to us - they flew at them. Their work rate was incredible in both games. And Chelsea's defence are not as technically gifted as ours and look uncomfortable with the tapping around at the back. And I still don't think some of their big egos are buying into the team ethos. Players shifting around in a prearranged manner depending on who has and where the ball is was drilled into our lot and has made RDZ job much easier. Chelsea don't seem into it.
We all remember that run of draws and being toothless against teams that park the bus. The jury is still out with RDZ after Forest and Villa but our willingness to get the ball forward quicker and shoot more often looks promising. Chelsea still look like the old us - trying to score goal of the season all the time. And more teams will sit in against them than us. He needs to learn quickly that moving from Brighton to Chelsea is more than just beard tints - you have a much more demanding fan base including shed loads of gobby plastics and bigger egos with the bigger salaried players.
Bet he would take the “easy life” managing Brighton right nowI think most of just can recognise a disingenuous bloke when we see one, who thought he was bigger than us, and is being found out.
Discussion on the radio last night Potter used to say look what I did at Brighton now the ex pros/pundits are saying well their new manager is doing better he’s got them scoring which is not helping his case.Bet he would take the “easy life” managing Brighton right now
