Wow! That is shocking. He's doing a great job for the PL and English football generally. Far more deserving of an OBE than certain folk I can think of
Turns out just because he has a library card doesn't mean he's Yoda.
Such as can I afford to put the heating on, how will I feed the kids this week? With the greatest respect you have no idea of the pressure different people are under.
As for Potter, at the time I thought fair enough, big team etc…. However, he has been a bit of a dick since IMO….. His latest outburst towards the press, wasn’t the most sensible thing he could have done. Some of his comments here weren’t that bright either, and he was under even less ‘pressure’.
I said this after the game at the Amex, as even that early in his tenure the players were clearly not taking his direction from the side. If they still aren't that feels like a massive lack of trust in him that doesn't bode well at all.
entirely reasonable post, thank youWith the greatest respect you have no idea of the pressure different people are under.

I pity a couple on here that are taking a bit of piss taking way too seriously.soz, i didn't mean you, they know who they are,
i pity them, that's all
Might be twice your age matey, but no way would I have spent my best years sat in mum's basement, surrounded by pizza boxes, trolling the fan forum of a foreign football club. Hope you'd agree in your more lucid moments that that is a tad strangeYou're getting a bit old man. Only two or three months ago I told you I have no intention to visit whatever basement you keep your mum in. Long queues are not for me.
Loving the sound of that! If that makes me sad and filled with hate then so be it. I want him, his team and Chelsea to fail very very badly.from the shed end..
“I can't get over how lifeless the attack looks.
Sides with half our wage bill generate many more chances. Sure everyone wants better players at times but that ain't the problem here. Our players across the board are not playing to near their talent level.
We play like our manager is a tutu wearing yoga instructor who wants to focus on deep breaths and finding your inner peace“
&
“Worst Chelsea manager we’ve had in 30 odd years, absolutely clueless, bland, clown”
Whilst you a feeling sorry for Millionaire PL football managers there was a recent poster on here saying he skips meals to make sure his daughter eats at every meal time.oh yeah, fiddling away on your laptop, christ
Is it more or less strange than spending 20-25 years trolling the fan forum of a domestic football club..?Might be twice your age matey, but no way would I have spent my best years sat in mum's basement, surrounded by pizza boxes, trolling the fan forum of a foreign football club. Hope you'd agree in your more lucid moments that that is a tad strange
It worked well enough when he managed usInteresting point brought up a moment ago was that his attitude in the press conference isn’t great, which then has a knock on to the players.
Also he seems to change the formation every game and during the games, if I was a player I would just switch off, how can you know what you are meant to be doing if it changes game to game and during the game.
Haven’t seen his latest outburst - was it pre match? With the greatest respect you have no idea of the pressure different people are under.

They weren't quite as bad as Southampton or Everton but not a lot better either. But to add, my mate Bob said, just as I was thinking it today during the match, 'haven't seen an EPL team play so badly this season'.
When he first took over was he chopping and changing straight away, or stick to one basic idea to get people playing a certain way?It worked well enough when he managed us
Until he has to say 'it was what it was'.How many times will he say 'It is what it is' in his post match interview?
