Wow, I'm really glad I started this thread now. I had NO IDEA the gun shoots out a "cone" of presumably what, buckshot ? In my ignorance I assumed it would be a couple of shells, which sounded really bloody HARD to his the skeet with. Lots of welcome tips as well, thanks folks.

Also, when you pull the trigger try to have your mouth slightly ajar, this will allow the internal pressure wave to dissipate.

I have as I used to do a lot of shooting about twenty years ago; clays, rough shooting and lamping. Great fun and I did invariably eat all the animals I shot rather than doing it just for 'sport'.
