A six-year-old girl who went missing in London has been found safe and well, police said.

The girl, named Eudine, had gone missing from the Thamesmead area in Greenwich, south-east London, the Met Police said.

Police said she was seen alone on CCTV at about midday on Monday and reported missing at 22:40 BST.

"We are pleased to confirm that Eudine, six, who was reported missing from Thamesmead yesterday has been found safe and well," the force said.

A week ago my baby girl was born. 10 weeks early and weighing just 2.2 pounds but yesterday and today she is off oxygen and breathing real air. Best news I've ever had. I'll be allowed to see her in a few weeks (due to potential contamination only Mums allowed in the room with incubators) but her Mum gets to hold her most of the day now.

Probably the smallest Seagulls fan in the world for a while as was 0.2%ile weight already for her age, before coming 70 days too soon.
That's not good news - it's bloody fantastic news!

Yes, great news . My 8 year old grand daughter can smell for the first time . Until now she has had to breathe through her mouth all her life . Her voice was nasally. She was hard of hearing. Adenoids out this week and her life had changed . NHS kept cancelling appointments for 5 years . My daughter had to push and push .

I got the steam wand on my coffee machine working again after a good de-scale
These are important news.

Congrats. Any day doesn't start well without weapons grade coffee. I even take a pre loaded stainless steel bialletti with me if I go tenting. . . . Tenting is a rarity restricted to 1 night max these days.

On a minor personal note my cat who's been lost for 10 days was returned to me by two lovely policewomen (he has apparently been hanging out there the whole time, I didn't report him!)

As he'd never been outside prior to the 4 days before he went missing I was very doubtful he'd return.

I see a response heading in that includes a "double entendre" involving the word pussy....:D

Youngest daughter just about to start school...
