I'm actually feeling pretty up beat about it all at the moment. We have competent qualified people telling us some facts.

That hasn't happened for a long time.

The facts may not be what we'd like to hear, but with management and a bit of effort from everyone, including those who can most afford it. Things will get better.
It's just refreshing to listen to human beings talking sense for a change. It's not often I get fully engaged and actually inspired by a politician but Lisa Nandy is one such person.

Failing this, grab a coffee and listen to the new Crack Cloud album.

A week ago my baby girl was born. 10 weeks early and weighing just 2.2 pounds but yesterday and today she is off oxygen and breathing real air. Best news I've ever had. I'll be allowed to see her in a few weeks (due to potential contamination only Mums allowed in the room with incubators) but her Mum gets to hold her most of the day now.

Probably the smallest Seagulls fan in the world for a while as was 0.2%ile weight already for her age, before coming 70 days too soon.

Over the last few nights I've watched:

'Invasion of the body snatchers' (50's)
'Invasion of the body snatchers' (70s)
'Body Snatchers' (90s)

And thoroughly enjoyed them.

Not going to bother with 'The Invasion' (2007) .... Because it's shit.
And....have you managed to hang on to the body?

Pull yourself together. 'The news' is the news. The world is the same as it ever was. Our job is to make a good impact if we can. Not wet our pants every time something bad happens.
You’ve just reminded me to post my good news, that, despite having to use it for the first time in my adult life, I can confirm that Anusol is effective

Read a story today of a protein recently discovered to protect against alzheimers, could be very good news for a great many people.
It probably won't be as simple as eat a pill and things get better, but it's a big step towards an effective treatment.

I bagged some cloudy lemonade from *Waitrose this morning.

(*For most of you Lidl lot, Waitrose is a high end supermarket which only poshos like me
go into.

Since an Aldi opened up a few hundred yards for me, i have transfered to doing my weekly shop there. I started just trying a couple of things and if i liked them bought those instead of my usual Sainsburys stuff (not as highbrow as Waitrose though). Over a couple of months I stopped going to the Sainsburys, apart from to get the items that the more limited range in Aldi didnt have -normally specific baking ingredients)
The Good news is that recently after visitng family I have discovered that the much cheaper Aldi brands taste much better than the more expensive named brands, or presumed "better" supermarket brands(Waitrose included) The price difference between say Nescaffe coffee and the Aldi "high end" jar is huge, and Hubby says the Nescaffee is shit-i dont drink instant, its trhe same with a lot of things, and even the standard Aldi range are often made in the same factories as the other supermarkets and just branded different-

There is 3p off a packet of Rich Tea biscuits at the Co-Op (probably and if there isn’t then there is probably an offer on them at some other Supermarket or Convenience Store / Corner Shop, DYOR).
