Saw Les Miserables, expected to hate it (went under duress) but it was AMAZING..
Theatre Royal is putting on La Traviata and Rigoletto in June, thinking about going as Rigoletto gets me moist but not sure how it would fare in that setting?

Gerry Springer The Opera in Leicester
Les Miserables in New York
Tommy in Brighton

Don't really like the singing-a-story thing, but Gerry Springer was funny.

Across the pond
Phantom of the Opera
Miss Saigon
River Dance [I'm not gay!]

Saw Miss Saigon in Charlotte, it's a MUSICAL. Nice shirt, smart trousers is good enough surely?
The cream of Charlotte society turns up in stretch limo's and tuxedo's giving it large, then go to the bar and drink Bud light from a bottle. No class.

Not been to the opera, but am a fan of good musicals.
Seen on stage:
Where's Charley? (including perhaps the finest, most underrated love song from all musicals: "Once In Love With Amy"...
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
Cabaret
Chicago
Phantom Of The Opera
Buddy
High Society
Kiss Me, Kate
My Fair Lady
The Producers
A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum

Also seen on screen:
Oklahoma!
Carousel
South Pacific
Paint Your Wagon
On The Town
Mary Poppins
Evita
The King And I
West Side Story
Half A Sixpence :lolol:

"Starred" in school productions of:
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Joseph
Bugsy Malone ("So you wanna be a boxer...?" Er, no.)

Well, you did ask... (Am also bored...)

Hrm, as goes what I've seen, I can only describe the opera as "tedious shite", can't remember what it was but it was just shite.

Musicals:

Grease
Fiddler on the roof
South Pacific
Oaklahoma
Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (three times, ranging from professional to pure amateur primary school performances)
Oliver
Little Shop of Horrors

Probably a few more I've forgotten.
