I've seen Carmen on tv but never live. I'd love to see it live. That, and the Marriage of Figaro.

Mikado is very good. Didn't really get into 7 Brides for 7 Brothers though. That's about my lot, unless Ballamory counts.

My kids loved 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. (I knew I had forgotten one)
We videoed it and they watched it over and over again especially the punchup in the barn building.
Great stuff.

Both. The opera was some tedious shite I was dragged to, mind.

I got in trouble with my then gf, for starting to applaud between acts.
From then on, it got increasing to exceedingly boring, and I wanted to leave the stuffyness for the fresh air and DANCE AND SING FOR JOY at my freedom.

opera suck arse.

Ballet is a different matter though, something else entirely.
