Flu was once described to me as something that lays you out so completely and that if someone told you there was a £50 note on the window sill but you had to go and grab it within 10 mins to be able to keep it, you'd be so ill that you wouldn't be arsed to get out of bed and get it. Flu is an absolute bastard, I definitely haven't had that! I could have gone and collected the £50 at any time!
Most people who say that they have had flu have just had a bad cold or virus.

Worst one I have had in years. Started xmas eve. I hate staying in all day, and always go out even if just for a short walk, however bad I feel. Not with this bastard, Missed first game at Amex (watford, so silver lining maybe) and still coughing for England
