As I was doing my daily jog earlier along the beach, there was a few kitesurfers on the sea, so something came to me.

Have you ever Kitesurfed? Windsurfed? Surfed? or Jestskied?

I've never done any of them, but I thought this would be a good question to ask on here.

Jetskis are COOL

Surfing is BRILLIANT. You can have great fun on a surfboard even if you're no good at the standing-up stuff.

Kite surfing is also cool. If you don't want to get wet but want to have fun being pulled along by a kite, the land-based version is fantastic fun.

Done a jetski - Junior was terrified and demanded to let off, he was 4 at the time.

Surfed all my life including 2 weeks in France this year - magnificent fun.

Had a go at Windsurfing. Bloody hard work. And got nowhere in the hour they give you. Rent out the stuff for a day if ur having a go. I'd wait till the weather perks up too.

Watersports? They have websites dedicated to that sort of perverted "entertainment" don't they?

Or so I'm told...

Windsurfing and surfing. Neither are easy.

Even if you think you have the balance for a boardsport, or have done one, they're both inately different from each other in the "not falling over like a tit" department ;)

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
I surfed in Byron Bay. The shame of being cut up by a 6 year old or an 80 year old; the inability to travel further than 15 metres without being unceremoniously dumped into the water has scared me off for life!

Would love to try kitesurfing, it looks like awesome fun.

Have tried surfing and wind surfing which was ok but found it hard to go the direction I wanted to.

Jetskiing is BOLLOCKS after about 45 minutes. It gets proper boring. I quite enjoy wind surfing personally, although it takes about 3 days to learn to stand up on the boad FFS!

Never done surfing but have heard it's not that difficult.

Anyone tried WATERSKIING off a line (none of that nampby pamby BAR nonsense). Now that is hard work...

How about kayaking!!!

That's canoeing with a paddle in a single person boat/craft or whatever you want to call it.

White-water rafting - now that's a laugh. Can't say I've tried it though.
