Not sure if anyone has already posted this ( apologies if so) but the club seem to have set up a bluesky account: https://bsky.app/profile/officialbha.bsky.social

Also, the women are at: https://bsky.app/profile/bhafcwomen.bsky.social

Happy days. I can close down twitter now.
Pretty amateurish if these are the official accounts. It would make a lot more sense to use brightonandhovealbion.com Hopefully this is someone at the club having a sniff around to understand the platform.

Instructions here if anyone is interested https://bsky.social/about/blog/4-28-2023-domain-handle-tutorial

I'm a minimal user of WhatsApp, just a couple of Chat groups. Only recently realised the "Updates" with its "Channels" section might be another alternative for Twitter. I know WhatsApp is linked via my phone number, but I'd rather watch Albion videos on my iPad. There doesn't seem to be a direct iPad equivalent to the iPhone app, but dozens of variations. What app do people recommend?

Every so often, when I want to feel truly dispirited at the state of social media and humanity, I look at replies to posts from someone like Gary Linekar. Just look at the awful replies to this perfectly reasonable, compassionate tweet from just a few minutes ago. Most of these people are real, they live and breathe amongst us (and a lot support Chelsea!). Just hideous, vindictive trolls. The problem is people. People are awful.

Although, scanning down quickly...

And North Stand Chat?
Maybe one day.

I've gone in quite heavily on Facebook over the last few weeks, but it's kinda tactical for something else I want to do.

I always felt a bit of a fraud on twitter as I essentially only opened it on or around matchdays and generally just broadcast stuff out, plugging this place, and rarely got involved in conversation.

I'd much rather spend my time on here than pretty much anywhere else.

I use the browser version which opens in Safari - https://web.whatsapp.com/

Works pretty well

I joined Blue Sky last week and it is rapidly becoming my scrolling app of choice. It's really good for Albion content at the moment. It is quieter than twitter and it is all the better for it. We'll see how it goes when it gets busier. For now the signs are good.

I'm still on twitter though, it is still better for me for things like Washington Commanders content amongst other things. I'll ditch my account when I cease to use the platform, so I'll still be on there for a while yet.

I do think Blue Sky has potential though, seems much better than threads which I do not really engage with at all.
