Harty having a day off ... so ...

Tuesday's phone in was more like the Harty of old, even if some of the callers are becoming regulars - week in, week out.

Perhps with Mickey gone, the strain of what happened with Wilkins, plus some other contributing factors which all seem to have joined together to reflect Harty's season on the phone in.

He must be suffering not only are the team having a bad season but things have worked and divided Harty's loyalties as well.

Lets hope its not his last season in the box - which is definately better when John Byrne joins him - they feed off of each other very nicely

It was a good show on Tuesday, you are right.
I think Harty has probably got his show fully worked out and is comfortable, and learned from the occasional glitches (even though they don't seem such a big deal imho, especially if if I think what the beeb put on our very televisions).
It works, and I can't imagine anyone else having the right combination of professional, and general-all-things-Albion nous. Not to mention Harty's dedication to it, traipsing around the country for matches all season.

Not saying I do not agree with what you are saying because I do. However I would love to be paid to do this.

Hmm, I sincerely doubt that Harty can be bettered. The boy is an Albion legend.

What nonsense, you'll be asking for him to be knighted next.

After spending a lot of time at matches with Ian Hart in the last few months I expect his lad Sam (Hart) will be happy, as I heard him say his best time watching the Albion was when his dad was off from SCR last time. Maybe says it all.

So if Harty is not going to be at the match, then you won't have anyone to talk to.
