Two great guys who have given alot to our club but was the decision to extend their contracts a wise one?

Dean has no intrest in playing them so surely the wages could have been much better spent on offering better contracts to George O'c etc or spent on other players at the begining of the season.

Were they not obliged to be offered deals due to appearances made?

Hart is certainly worth a shout still - only those in the know can answer why he hasn't played yet!

Hart does deserve a testimonal for the service he has given this club in the past 10 years and if that ment he had to have a year contract this year then i'm happy that he got one.

At least Hart is getting some first team action at Havant....Mayo could do with some action, as if it were:lolol:

Hart hasn't figured at all since Wilkins took over, has he? Which is strange because didn't he have a really good couple of seasons in the Championship under McGhee? Unless Hart has completely lost his footballing ability, I think it's time he came back!

If Savage, O'Callaghan, Martot, Richards and Hammond do leave in the next few weeks (assuming you swallow every bit of bullshit on here) then you may soon have reason to be very glad we still have Hart and Mayo to call upon!!

In around 8 matches he has, scored the winner at Glanford Park under Wilkins

How did Mayo slip in there? I think I'd rather have John Sullivan at left back

I thought he was judging from a previous thread??

Isn't Mayo only playing for the reserves? Wasn't aware he was on loan anywhere.
