Does the red card in the match get rescinded?

All goals do not count. Any yellow cards picked up do not count, but pick up two yellows and get sent off then the one game ban still counts as does the sending off for that players stats!!! Absolutely crazy rule and should be sorted out immediately by the F.A

That's amazing and creates the anomaly of a squad player getting sent off on his debut. Match gets abandoned. The manager deems the player too risky to try again.

I would advocate that if a home team are losing at the time the match is abandoned due to their pitch being sub standard then the result should stand - if it's a draw or home team are leading then replay it.

Charlton's pitch was not sub standard though. It's simply that a few inches of rain came down in a very short time, and very few pitches in the world would be able to cope with that.

Bad news for Doncaster, I suppose, then again if one of their players suffered a broken leg because of an opponent diving in for a ball that didn't go where they expected it to go thanks to the sodden pitch, they'd be the first to complain.
