King is the only one of the Bournemouth reclamation projects I'd want.

Brooks?

I also happen to think Solanke is a player, just needs a confidence boost. Bournemouth was quite a difficult place to be for a young player trying to make his name last season. He never looked like he stopped trying though and looked a lot better when he got a goal.

Since when is 7 goals in 31 games from a winger poor?
We can only dream of Solly getting 7 goals a season.
For 15 million I know who I would want out of those two.

Heard exactly the same when he was at Hudds the season before. Though if I remember correctly a few of us on here were quite keen on him last summer

Billing had a couple of allegedly good games for Plucky last Aug/Sept, causing the old media to say “what a bargain, another astute bit of transfer business by Smug”.

Well, that worked out well :lolol::lolol::lolol:

The Billing’s CV ..... back to back relegations.

Hope Leeds bring him in so Billing can complete the hattrick. :lolol:

I think he didn’t just cut the PL mustard. I hope we don’t sign him.

The player who’s been accused of what you mention, the gloves are off now, is Philip Billing. Ex-players on the radio recently stating that he was in essence lazy last season, whilst gladly accepting a large pay packet.

Both quotes are taken from Bournemouth fans on a multi-team forum I use; would suggest that Wilson is in a similar category to Billing. Hope we steer clear of both.

"I'm no expert on the career to date of Harry Wilson, but he gave the impression that he's always been technically gifted enough to sail through life as a youth player comfortably insulated within the ranks of a big club. Surround him with a team winning games because the other 10 players are really good for their level, then sure he'll look great. But football isn't always like that. As soon as he found himself in a fight, where things weren't going his way, he shat himself. It's ironic that he should be our biggest 'southern softy' type player. "

"I'm not blaming Wilson for all of our issues last season, but in situations like that you do see people's true character and what all Bournemouth fans saw was a player with absolutely no fight him in. Sure, he started the season off in better form but it was hardly spectacular, and it quickly curtailed.

He has decent technical ability, and may be worth a punt at 10-15m because he can score a few as he has proven. As I've said many times about him, I can forgive that he's more suited to CAM and Howe kept playing him on the wing. I can't forgive constantly costing us goals because he's too lazy to track his man, or doing basketball blocks in his penalty area in a do or die match.

There's a few posters saying he suffered from being in our team. Sure, we were poor, but nobody let his teammates down more often last season than Harry Wilson. Not the kind of bloke you want by your side when it gets tough, that's for sure.

Thanks for the quotes, pretty much supports my concerns on signing this guy.

I will trust the club as always.

Presumably he looks a bit different these days as well. Maybe you still look like him?

Good point.....he's 66 now....can't find any pix though.
