So if they had asked her to wear a new, lightweight clown mask and comedy breasts, she would have put those on as well? Dozy bint. The article says "like putting on a hard hat on a building site" - to protect her from the environment, and following H&S requirements for access to the site. She didn't need to put on a stab-vest to wander around the streets of Peckham. They could at least have given her one that fitted!

It was ONLY a question.

God knows what that says to the people of Peckham, but at least she's not trying to cover it up I suspose.

How many MPs have walked about with under their coat or jacket.

The main story here is how on Radio 4 she totally dismissed the daily mail and its readers.

Now I don't know about you but I think it is one of the best selling dailies & 2.4 million people buy it. This government has so lost the plot it defies belief. They don't care what people think and this my friends goes some way to proving this.

Anti government rant over

Because Gordon Brown is away at the NATO summit, Harriet Harperson will today stand in for him at Prime Ministers' Questions.

For the Conservatives, it'll be William Hague.

It's going to be absolute CARNAGE. Watch it today at 12. Unmissable.

I notice that all the police men in the picture are wearing stab vests as well. They don't seem to be attracting the same level of derision as the civilian here, even if it is the local MP........

If I went out with the coppers, I would wear a stab vest as well.

Evil those coppers!

:dunce:

Though I despise this hypocritical woman, I can't see the story here. She was offered the vest and wore it.

End of story.

More worrying was the statement by the Home Officer minister, who said "she was afraid to walk around the streets of Hackney" My area!

Well - ffs do something about it. We have to live here and we don't have armed Police escorting us around!

Don't blame her. Peckham is full to the brim with blacks and we know blacks stab people. A lot.

William 'the foetus' Hague just totally destroyed her in Prime Ministers questions.

He asked her if she dresses up as a clown in cabinet meetings, very funny.

She was totally rubbish and I'm a Labour supporter.

she's a hypocrite, non-principled politician, and I cannot work out how she has come so far as a politician, she has been a lightweight in all of her Ministerial and shadow posts?
