If Ankergren had conceded the West Ham goal he would have been ridiculed. Harper did not follow the basics. He was not even properly positioned when Nolan shot. The shot itself was nothing special and Harper showed weak hands and pawed the ball into the net. Sure he looks more confident, he has a degree and is a qualified referee but whether he is able to perform is another matter. I guess this is why he is only on a month's loan. We need to see what he is able to contribute.

Reyes looked quick, sharp and dirty. He will not score goals but he will find his team mates with passing. He is definitely a better quality central midfielder than Bridcutt who is not as good as the posts on this board suggest. If he was, Premiership Clubs would be interested. Has there been a mention of one ?

Agree with everything apart from the Bridcutt comment. Ankergren would have been vilified for letting that goal in. Tonight's was worse than the Millwall one. Hard to judge Harper on one game where West Ham were pretty shocking, and it was his first day and all.

Reyes looked really good. Can't we just put him on the left though instead of Painter? Reyes and Calderon to complete the Latino fullback flare.

The Championship.
Would prefer Reyes to go LB and Calde come back in to RB. Harper is a much better keeper than Kasper, shame we only have him for a month and not got his services permanently.

How can Harper be blamed for the goal when LB loses the ball 5yards from the penalty area? The way we play football Harper is not going to be in the centre of the goal. He is an outlet. As for, if it was Ankergren, you're right some would have criticised but I don't think you can blame any goalkeeper in that situation. Reyes looked decent. Would have been good to see him move in to the middle, when the unfortunate Dicker got injured and see Calderon come on to play more of a wing-back. We played well tonight and with West Ham going one up they were always going to be a difficult side to break down! Just needed a bit of creativity!!

Agree keeper at fault tonight, its how the season is going, play teams off the park, dont score enough and give soft goals away. It will turn around tho

Reyes was class. Slotted straight in and looked the part. Harper was solid for 99% of the game (although didn't have much to do) but an absolute howler for the goal (haven't seen it again to be fair so maybe being a bit too harsh), postioning was terrible

Reyes is brilliant... .. The kids sat with us have nick named him "El loco"

Play him in midfield alongside Bridders, they can then kick the hell out of everybody with a good dose of swagger and class.

Thought both looked good, Harper was out of position for the goal but other than that he looked fairly solid.

Doesn't surprise me that he's good on the ball considering he used to play up front (and did so in a friendly against Celtic for Newcastle ;) )

Reyes impressed me, couple of iffy challenges but in all he looked good, should be a good signing, pity Calderon was dropped for him mind.
