All this crap about Dicker. No one mentioned this when we were winning. AFAIC Dicker is good enough. He's such a smart footballer with brilliant eyes for a pass and some class tackling. He showed this earlier in the season however he, like most of the team, have hit a bad vein of form. I think the saying goes form is temporary while class is permanent.

It was mentioned by some, along with Calderon & Painter.
Don't be totally swayed by the result. You could see Blackpool & P'boro for example, dominating them. The wins & draws meant most fans didn't analyse.
Gus surely looking to perfect whilst here, otherwise he'll move on where PL resources.

Keep Harley on the bench and bring him on when we get a last minute free-kick on the edge of the box...

I think Navarro's been OK when he's played.

Dicker's body language was poor when we were under the cosh last night and Harley went missing too...

Need that box-to-box midfielder with bite. Those two are good players but we need another different dimension that they just don't offer.

Vicente will be class but it was a poor time to throw him into the mix last night - needed a player for a blood and guts english derby and i wouldn't expect him to be in tune with that at this point. I say this retrospectively - at the time i wanted him on (and hoskins tbh) as i thought his class would show... it just didn't get a chance to.

Can't decide who was worse.

One can't play at this level, and the other doesn't want to.

f***ing woeful

I suppose if it comes down to a choice, we might be better just starting with ten men then less could be given away !

Dickers major problem is his loss of concentration which usually results in him losing the ball on the edge of our area or at the best inside of our half.

this... he did set up goal, but he gives ball away in dangerous areas and gets pushed off it to easily

Vicente should have been brought on midway through first half to re-inforce our position, 15 minutes before the end was pointless and possibly an insult to him !

Agree....but i also thought Harley played a little better last night re his effort and getting his foot in...it was marginal...i thought from his first game with us that he will need to adapt a bit...being a sort of star at Exeter...then getting a dream move to a premier team...maybe its gone to his head a bit...but if he buckles down then i am prepared to give him time...without giving him the stick he seems to get on NSC..he obviously brings something different to the team....but..if he does play then its obvious to me that bridcutt needs someone like Navarro (of the current squad) to add some backbone to the midfield.

PS..Some peeps think we have loads of dosh to spend...as far as i know we don't ...the way i see it Gus will give the current lot a fair crack of the whip and then if things don't work out (by that i mean below mid table) then maybe he will go for the loan market (i know he doesn't like it) and c who's available from the premiership

probably true. given more time to show his class and keep the ball could have made a big difference to tempo and result

that said i half think if we had been shooting at the north stand in the 2nd we'd have f***ing won it anyway!
